So you really wanna know.....

Okay, here's the deal... Way back in December of 2003, I was hurt at work, received Caustic Soda in my eye from some equipment in the area I worked in.  The Caustic Soda has caused me major problems in that I have had to receive 6 operations so far, not including 4 clippings in the doctors examination room.  The reason I have had to have so many operations is that my eye was hurt so bad by the Caustic Soda.  If you don't know what Caustic Soda is, it's just like Lye Soap, only stronger.  This liquid ate away part of my lower left eyeball and eyelid.  There was surgery to repair my eye, which went pretty good, then another surgery to repair my eyelid.  My eyelid was so badly damaged that it was turned in, causing my eyelashes to come in contact with my eyeball causing lots of pain and irritation.  That surgery did not work well.  In less than 5 weeks, I noticed my eyeball was attaching itself to my eyelid.  I went back to the first doctor to have another surgery to cut my eyeball lose from my eyelid.  Shortly after this, the second doctor operated again and decided to remove all my lower eyelashes from my left eye.  That helped alot.  The bad thing is tho, the eyeball keeps attaching itself to my eyelid.  So now, almost a year and half later, I have had 6 surgeries and 4 clippings, where the doctor gave me a shot in my eye and then clipped it lose.

I know what you are saying....man, he's gotta look rough with all that surgery on his eye...well, good thing is, the doctors were so good, you can barely tell anything had happened.

So there you are...my little story
